Test from the Master

 

I was on my way to school today listening to the Christian radio. It’s amazing how inspiring it can be when only listening to it for 15 minutes. I was hearing a preaching that impacted me. Made me want to stay in the car and listen to it all. The preacher said that temptation is put into our lives from God. I first thought “Sure Bob! Temptation comes from satan.”. Then the man continued and said that God puts temptation to build our character. He said that since we are always boosting about how good we are on this and how well we achieve that, that He puts that temptation there to see if we are really MATURE Christians. Those 15 minutes of that preaching just gave me a completely new outlook of temptation. Here I am always saying oh temptation doesn’t come from God, when really it does. It’s a test. If I decide to fall into temptation then I am spiritually immature because of my actions. It is when we are Spiritually Mature Christians when we see that the test comes from our Master.
