Through His Eyes

Learning to see the way God does takes time.

The cry of my heart has been just that for the last few months. God, let me see how You see! Let me see the world the way You do! With such love, compassion and patience. If we only saw the world through His eyes.

Now lets be real-Most days we don’t see or at least try to see the way God sees it. We judge compulsively. We lie, we cheat, we hate, we backstab, we gossip (in other words we chick chat), without even noticing that we are not demonstrating God like character. Then we show up to church and pretend to be godly! I know that this isn’t in your case, but many people do!

Little do we know- Most of the people that we talk about are going through deep problems. If we had the time to look at it the way God did, then we wouldn’t be judging. You see although God sees our hearts, with the good, the bad, and the ugly, He still loves the same. Us, on the other hand, only see the situation but not the solution. We see the flaws, but not how God sees them. God sees them as the past, as if we have already overcame the problem.

To be like Him- Ask God! Let that be your prayer. God, let me see the way You do! Let me have compassion, love, and patience for my co-worker, neighbor, sister, brother, friend! It is our goal to be more like Him! Matthew 5:28 says: Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. It’s not an easy task, but neither is it impossible. Lets strive to see the way God does.

Lets begin with a new look in Gods eyes. & try to see through His eyes.
