Wedding Dress, Lowe’s, and Tanning

What a week I have ahead of me.

Only six days ’till my wedding. How am I dealing with it? I wouldn’t be able to answer that with accuracy. So far there have been a few wedding mishaps and Bridezilla has not taken over. My wedding dress was taken to the seamstress to get some last minute touch up’s over a week ago. The lady promised she would have it done in a week. I went to pick up my dress yesterday and the lady had forgotten about my dress. I looked at directly into her eyes and said “my wedding is in one week and you told me you would finish this dress by Wednesday or Thursday, what are you going to do?” She apologizes and promised to have it done by Monday the latest (let’s hope).

Considering that Danny has been in San Jose with his brother and that my aunt is away in Mexico for the weekend, I didn’t do too bad alone. I went to Lowe’s and bought eighteen eight inch by forty eight pillars and stuffed them in my little car. By this moment I was overwhelmed and frustrated on how to get things done. I had to return some stuff at Target when I saw someone from church and asked me how the wedding plans were going- my answer was uncontrollable- I cried.

I also tanned this past Thursday. Not because I wanted to look a tad bit darker or because I had slight color imperfections but because my left arm has a visible shirt tan line. I mean VERY VISIBLE!! So I went to get a spray tan and after it was over, my face looked like I had freckles and my palms of my hands look like I have been working out in the fields. I have scrubbed while showering and it didn’t work! To say the least, I am liking my new color, though that Thursday I kind of ended up looking like Ross from Friends when he got his tan!

The second living room in the house has become the wedding workshop. Everything from the wedding is there! & it’s a mess! My room is getting bared as well as I am also packing my things to move. What a week! Pray for me!
